Every precast wall panel has a thick layer of energy efficient thermal insulation integrally sandwiched between a very durable concrete interior and a unique beautiful exterior finish. This combination is also completely fire resistant and sound transmission is reduced allowing intrusive noise to be kept at a minimum. The system enables a very energy efficient building with edge to edge eps or xps insulation without thermal bridges and uses less concrete than traditional structural wall panels. With very low thermal conductivity the high strength c grid connectors help deliver a sandwich wall panel with insulation values up to r 37 depending on the thickness and type of foam insulation.

Carboncast high performance insulated wall panels are composed of two concrete wythes separated by continuous insulation c i. This allows the structural performance to be based on the full thickness of the panel. Composite panels connect the two wythes of concrete without penetrating the insulation with a conductive material. Insulated precast concrete wall panels can be created as a complete system that includes insulation and a moisture barrier as well as an exterior membrane and interior finish.
