When you get into really thick and warm waders such as those from 6 8mm thick you may experience unwanted buoyancy which can be awkward and dangerous. Insulated materials are able to preserve your body heat thus keeping you warm and comfortable even in cold conditions. 1200 grams of thinsulate insulation keeps you warm on those ice cold mornings behind the blind. These features alone make these fishing waders the best for fly fishing.

These waders are garbage. There is also reinforcement on the knees and seat. Be aware that large thick waders can start to feel clumsy and awkward. If you live somewhere cold or you are going hunting in the winter be sure to get insulated waders.
