As you can see it is possible to install fencing and gates into brick paving or concrete.
Install pool fence on pavers.
Then cut the jointing sand and pop out a couple pavers to dig your fence post and install.
Mark out your fence posts where they will land on the paver.
Bore out the hole.
Back fill compact bedding sand slip the paver with the hold bored out down over the post.
When it comes time to place the sleeves into the holes.
Fences can be easily installed into pavers around the pool and the fence can also be taken down when the pool is closed up for the winter difficulty measure three feet back from the pool edge in several places around the pool and make a small mark on the pavers with the colored chalk.
Installing travertine as pavers on sand is quite a bit different than grouting travertine and installing it on a subsurface of concrete.
The same process that s followed for concrete is followed for pavers.
In either case a fence can be put through it but think in terms of the fence being anchored from under the travertine rather than in it.
